The Indiana State Police identified a Warren County man who died Friday night when his motorcycle was struck by a drunk driver.

Gregory P. Hofmeister, 59, of West Lebanon, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Warren County coroner, state police said Saturday in a release.
Hofmeister, who was driving a red 1996 Harley-Davidson motorcycle, died of multi-system trauma. His relatives have been notified.
According to the release, Hofmeister was traveling eastbound on Indiana 28 when Benjamin D. Davis, 43, West Lebanon, was driving a red 2004 Dodge truck, pulled out in front of Hofmeister from the Patriot Mart.
Police at the scene determined that Davis was driving while intoxicated and charged him with Operating While Intoxicated Resulting in Death. Davis was not injured in the wreck.
State Trooper Aaron McCormick investigated the crash, assisted by the Warren County Sheriff's Department, Warren County Rescue and PHi Air Medical.
