20-year-old charged in triple fatality
Women still critical after being dragged

Eva Phillips, 22, of Lafayette, remained in critical condition at Methodist Hospital on Sunday, officials said, after being hit and dragged by a vehicle in the parking lot of Riehle Brothers Saturday.

According to Lafayette police, Octavius Alexander of Chicago struck three vehicles and three people while trying to exit the bar's parking lot in a Dodge Durango. He led officers on a 31-mile high-speed chase before being apprehended. Police said he had marijuana in his system.

Alexander remained in the Tippecanoe County Jail Sunday, held on a $100,000 bond.
